Favorite Vanes for Mechanicals
I’ve always run fixed blades with Bohning X3s or Flex-Fletch Pro 2.5s, but the newer cut-on-contact mechanicals have me interested this year. I’m starting to wonder if tall shield-cut vanes are overkill. They steer great and look good, but I’ve heard rounded/parabolic vanes are a lot quieter, and noise is something I care about. Would a 3-fletch Heat vane be enough, or would y’all go with something like AAE Hybrid 26, Max Stealth, Airazr 26, or TAC Driver 2.75?
