Fixed blade or mechanical broadheads — what are y’all trusting this season?
I know this topic gets debated a lot, but I’m curious what everyone is actually hunting with this year. Are you running: Fixed blades Mechanical broadheads Hybrids And what made you choose them? I’m especially curious about real hunting results, not just paper specs. Things like blood trails, penetration, durability, tuning, and how they performed on deer/hogs. Seems like fixed blades win on toughness and reliability, but mechanicals can be hard to beat for big cuts and easier tuning. What are y’all using, and would you buy them again?
