How far do y’all practice compared to your actual hunting shot distance?

I’m curious how everyone approaches practice distance. Do you mostly practice at the distance you expect to shoot while hunting, or do you practice farther to make closer shots feel easier? For example, if your max hunting shot is 30–40 yards, are you practicing at 50–60? Or do you keep most practice realistic? I feel like longer-range practice can expose small form mistakes, but I also don’t want to build bad habits by stretching too far too soon. What distance do y’all practice at, and what’s your honest max shot on an animal?
